We met Peter and Marlene during the 2 years we full timed it in the Motorhome.  

They come to the United States every year about October or November. They full time it in their motorhome for the winter, then return to the United Kingdome in late March or April.

Peter has the best job in the world.  During the summer he manages a firm that buys and sells potatoes.  As you can only do this during harvest time, he works in the summer and loafs in Florida in the winter.  My kind of job! 

Last year they built a house boat on the Tames River.  In this country house boats are much like floating Motorhomes.  However, in England they are not traveling boats.  They are homes built on a floating barge and are fixed to one location with permanent water, sewer and electric hookups.  Theirs is a two story houseboat.

Peter and Marlene are terrific people to spend time with.  They never miss an opportunity to do new things. As such they are always on the go, traveling around Florida most of the winter. They have so many stories to tell, and every one is more interesting then the previous.

Even with all this traveling we get to see them 3 or 4 times a year and generally get to go out to eat at least once.  The next two pictures were taken in March, 2002 as we leave for a night out.
